Small Groups, 6 person max and expert crew set our excursion apart. During this tour we can visit either the northern manta site near the Kona airport, or venture further south to Keauhou depending on where the best manta sightings have been. Our expert captains and dedicated guides are pulling out all the stops to make sure you get the best viewing possible.
Prior swimming & snorkeling experience is required to book this activity. Guest's must be able to independently climb up a side boat ladder. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Not recommended for pregnant women. Contact tour operator for exceptions.

This was an amazing experience. I definitely recommend going on the smaller group option so that you have less chance of people screaming and such and you can enjoy the peacefulness and awe of these beautiful animals.

These experience is unreal! We took our three boys 14, 12 and 10. It was raining and Little choppy but once you are in the water it was unreal. 20/10 loved it.

Nice small group trip with a maximum of 18 people. Our trip only had 14 people, making it a more intimate experience. Typical trips have 40 or more people with only 1-2 guides. This one had 3 leaders (1 to 5 ratio) making us feel very safe. In fact their safety for both us and the animals was paramount. We loved the experience! The only thing that was a little difficult was finding our meeting location in the dark. The company did a good job providing directions. It was just very dark being nighttime. I suggest a dry run to find the location in the daylight beforehand.

We must have seen 12-15 Manta Rays! What an awesome experience! Great job to the Captain and crew! Very organized!

The manta ray experience was one of the best experiences of my lifetime. I have done other manta ray experiences in the past, and nothing came close to how close these manta rays were. I would say it was a spiritual experience.

The crew was great, knowledgeable, and friendly. They provided a real amazing experience. The snorkeling was very easy and could even be done by less experienced swimmers.

Exceeded my expectations! Be prepared if you are prone to seasickness. Both the boat ride and floating in the water made me ill. But the encounter with the manta rays was totally worth it! Next time, I’ll just take some Gravol :)

I don’t know why I didn’t have high hopes for this activity but we were so surprised - we LOVED it! This is not a fancy boat and equipment kind of place but to me that made it even better. The crowd wasn’t too large so they could actually chat with you and it wasn’t like a big cow herd. The manta rays were so wild but amazing. I would highly recommend doing this!

If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets Purchased through a 3rd party or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $60 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however, if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund.
